Mum. I lie here awake at 1am thinking about that dreadful night 1 year ago today. That was without doubt the hardest day of my life. I can’t put into words how much I miss you each day. I know there are many others that feel the same as I do. You have left such a gap in our lives and I miss you more than ever. Although I am away from home, I will be thinking about you all day, remembering all the good times we had together. I love and miss you and would do anything just to hold you again.
